Crash packed a most profound emotional punch. I don't think it was a weak field of films either... Pride & Prejudice, Memoirs of a Geisha etc. All great movies :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13187577008022989336noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6915202154953031948.post-23698086889253838052013-03-07T22:50:03.371+00:002013-03-07T22:50:03.371+00:00Oh, this film is one of the my favorites of last d...Oh, this film is one of the my favorites of last decade. I agree that the racism message was really obvious but effect on each others lives (and no one will probably know about this) was a new thing in film. Same time, it is one of the most dramatic and emotional movies of past years.Nikahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10302904519424893854noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6915202154953031948.post-2319069836648805912012-12-18T18:42:20.232+00:002012-12-18T18:42:20.232+00:00I agree with some of what you are saying. His twist then made me feel really uncomfortable as it seems to suggest that you never know what is inside you.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11186833811296327739noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6915202154953031948.post-83514540363721187662012-12-14T20:05:07.577+00:002012-12-14T20:05:07.577+00:00Though I agree that it maybe shouldn't have wo...Though I agree that it maybe shouldn't have won best picture (I thought it should have gone to "Brokeback"), this would a really great and powerful movie for me. I don't think the movie was trying to introduce us to racism like it was so foreign concept that we didn't know existed. I think it was trying make clearer that fact that because of and in spite of racism we are have an effect on each others lives. That the most dubious of characters have compassion and those who would never consider themselves racist at all, do harbor prejudices. For me, the movie shows that we are all imperfect people and in everyday ordinary and extraordinary circumstances we can learn who we really are.
